Should Yakima Have A Truck Route?

Nobody is more appreciative of truckers than I am. I have family members that used to or currently drive semi’s for a living. They have the philosophy, “If you got it, a truck brought it!” and I agree. But maybe it would be nice if we had a set truck route to accommodate for everyone. I haven’t heard of one accident yet, but I’m not saying that it hasn’t happened. I’m also not saying it will never happen, but I am saying I would like it if it never happened.
So, what do you think? Should we have a truck route that all trucker who are delivering supplies or fruit or whatever in town know where to go. Or are they fine to make those wide turns. Sure, it may be a little scary sometimes, but cut them some slack. What do you think?
