Snow is Finally Here and it’s Time to Have Some Fun!

The Yakima Valley got it's first snow of the season and put most schools a couple hours behind this morning and caused a number of car accidents between last night and this morning.

I'm not sure how long we are going to have the white stuff so we should probably make the most of it. With the kids on winter break it's a great time bust out the scarfs and gloves and hit the local slopes. Franklin Park is known for it's famous sledding hill, and Randall park's not to bad either.

Besides sledding I always liked making a snow man or snow angels. Last night would have been the best time to create one or both because fresh snow is always easier to work with, but I bet if you hurry you could get away with one today.
