Taco Bell To Give 10 Million Free Tacos

After accusations that their food did not contain pure USDA-grade beef, Taco Bell is fighting back, saying its “meat mixture” is definitely more than 35% beef. Now the taco giant has offered a free taco to any individual who “likes” the Taco Bell Facebook page. Starting tomorrow (2/15), Taco Bell plans to hand out 10 million free tacos. Taco Bell advertizes its taco filling as “seasoned beef filling” and claimants in a lawsuit say the meat contains only 35% beef, so the advertizing is misleading. Taco Bell responded to the lawsuit by turning bad press into good, printing full page ads saying “Thank You For Suing Us.” Taco Bell claims their tacos contain around 88% beef.
