This year, there are more events than ever going on at State Fair Park in Yakima for the whole family to enjoy. Here's what's happening...

One of the events, which so many of us look forward to each year, is the 4th of July festivities at State Fair Park. Well. it's coming back in a big way this year and there's so much fun to be had, it's going to take THREE DAYS of fabulous fun to take it all in!

The Central Washington State Fair, events such as the 4th of July fireworks & festivities, and a return of a drive-in food festival, all have an official go-ahead to help this community to get back to normal.

During the 4th of July celebration at the State Fair Park we crowned our Texaco Country Showdown winner - Audre Belt. Audre sang Leann Limes "Cowboy Sweetheart" and she did this amazing yodeling. Audre moves on to the state competition and hopefully on to regionals...

The 4th of July is almost here and I think in America we sometimes forget that everything comes with a price. We all appreciate and thank the men and women of the armed forces who fight and work 24/7 365 to defend our freedom whenever where ever. To celebrate that freedom also comes with a price and this years FREE 4th of July celebration would not be possible without Hapo Community Credit Union R

The 4th of July Committee needs your help to keep our celebration free. This community celebration which has been held at State Fair Park since 1993 has been financed by private donations and sponsorships.

As Chairmen of the 4th of July Committee of Yakima our group wants to hear from you as we plan this years event! We are always trying to improve the Free Celebration the happens on the 4th of July at State Fair Park. There is always music, food, and of course fireworks, but what else would you like to see at the festival. Sound off in our poll below, you can even add your own answers!
