7th Annual Flag Day Celebration will be held this Thursday at Noon in Tieton
June 12, 2012 On Thursday, June 14th, at noon in the Tieton City Square, 607 Maple Street, Tieton, WA, the 7th Annual Flag Day Celebration for the Highland community will be held. This event honors the men and women of the communities of Naches Heights, Cowiche and Tieton who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces. Although the event serves to honor all area veterans, each year a number of veterans are selected for special recognition of their service. Special presentations will be made to this year's honorees: John Mettie, Gene Knutson, and Dick Barr. All area veterans are invited and encouraged to attend.
