This Friday is the 33rd annual Children' Miracle Network Radiothon -- the 6 a.m.-to-6 p.m. event benefits Children's Village in Yakima and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital.
IHOP Restaurant is no longer in Yakima, but that's not stopping Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital from celebrating National Pancake Day today (March 7).
If you'd like some FREE pancakes and learn how you can donate to Children's Miracle Network, we've got all the details.
Mayhem and Miracles took place on Saturday. A local biker club, The Reckin' Crue, put the whole thing together. The mission was to gather money for the Children's Miracle Network and so they did!
On Oct. 22, 1995, a mysterious new character made his debut at WWF's in your House PPV against Marty Jannetty. Forever known as "The Bizarre One" due to his antics in the ring, Goldust would go on to to achieve greatness in WWE, along with battling some serious demons throughout his prestigious career...
I am very proud to be part of this community. I am especially proud that I am involved in the local bike club, The Reckin' Crue. They are all about charity and giving back to others. May 30th marked the second 'Mayhem & Miracles and the first ever 'Poker Run' on a golf course. It was fantastic.
Today 'Super' Sam Wilkenson was sworn in as Mayor of Yakima for the day. This little boy who beat the odds to live has stolen our hearts and shown all of us just how good we have it here in Yakima. The NICU and Children's Village are such a blessing to the valley. Super Sam and his awesome family raised over $11,000 for Children's Miracle Network and Children's Village, money that will stay right
Rik, Cefus and myself were treated to a tour of Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital's NICU recently as part of our Children's Miracle Network fundraiser.
I am very familiar with the NICU, since my little Shaylee was born at 31 weeks and weighed 3.1 pounds. She was put on a ventilator and needed to be in an isolette. She spent seven weeks in the NICU, where a bond seems to develop with the NICU nurses
What a great morning for Super Sam and the Bull, raising $381.01 for Children's Miracle Network. You can watch Super Sam introduce himself and collect money with his family and friends. A huge thanks to Linda, who made the chocolate cupcakes with chocolate butter cream frosting. Thanks to Jeff, Nicole and Faith Wilkenson for bringing Super Sam into our lives.
The Bull morning show is helping raise money for the Children's Miracle Network and 5 yr old Sam is helping us raise money as a team for a great cause. I heard that he was a huge super-hero fan and I remember when I got my first super hero cape when I was 6 and how cool it made me feel so I had to get one for Sam as well.
