Personally, I think it's too early. My family won't be putting up the Christmas tree until after Thanksgiving. But I know there are some hardcore Christmas fans here in the Yakima Valley!
Today, Sept. 10, I dropped into Costco for some eggs and came across CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. Christmas is still 3 1/2 months away. School JUST started and Halloween is still more than a month away.
It's still the holiday season and these shelter pets had a surprise on Christmas morning as they got to pick out a toy from a huge pile. The reactions are priceless and will bring a tear to your eye.
The star of the parade however was Santa Clause who helped turn on the lights on the community Christmas tree in the Millennium Plaza after the parade.
If you didn't know, I've got two kiddo's. Kaelyn is 6, and Taytem is 2. We've been doing Santa pics pretty much every year. Last year's pic was definitely a memorable one. This year's experience went a bit smoother.

I dropped into Costco this last Wednesday and they had the artificial Christmas trees, Christmas lights, ribbon, decorations, etc., on the sales floor ALREADY.
