The town of Pasco has lifted its juvenile curfew. According to the Tri-City Herald, the City Council dropped the ordinance last week after concluding the 22-year-old curfew was unenforceable and possibly unconstitutional.
The city's action raises a similar question for Yakima.
What parent hasn't been there? Waiting up half the night, anxiously wondering where their teenager is and why she hasn't called. Praying she's OK ... but ready to wring her neck the minute she slinks in the back door.
