In a development likely to give Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan some sense of relief, Universal has officially decided to shoot Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed back to back, giving its actors a chance to fulfill their commitments to the troubled franchise in one fell swoop. In addition, the studio has confirmed James Foley to direct both sequels, with author E.L. James’ husband Niall Leonard adapting both stories for the big screen.

The hotly-anticipated 50 Shades of Grey film is in theaters, and Brantley Gilbert wants in on the action.

Christian Grey is an unusual guy. He’s the world’s most eligible billionaire bachelor and an enormously powerful businessman. He’s an avid jogger, an exceptional piano player, and a licensed helicopter pilot. He also really like the color gray. He wears gray suits and ties, drives a gray car to his gray office building (which is called Grey House) under gray Seattle skies, where his assistant dresses in—you guessed it—gray. (For the record, his office chairs are white but the couches are gray too.) And, oh yeah, he’s into kinky sex, including bondage, spanking, and domination.

Finally ... (I've been waiting for soooo long) ... we will get a look at the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie trailer. This Thursday the movie trailer will air on the "Today" show with rumors that some behind-the-scenes footage will also be shown. The movie will open in theaters Feb. 13, 2015. I want to see the trailer for several reasons:

Get ready to clutch your pearls -- 'Fifty Shades of Grey' screenwriter Kelly Marcel says that the film adaptation will be as raunchy as the book, which means an NC-17 rating, no doubt.

Yesterday, "Good Morning America" did a report on whether the popularity of "Fifty Shades of Grey" is causing a BABY BOOM. Which is obviously ridiculous.  The book didn't become popular until about four months ago . . . at least not popular enough that it could cause a population-wide change in the birth rate...

This one is NOT going to look good on us when the Rapture comes. The Damson Dene Hotel in Crosthwaite, England has just yanked the Gideon Bible out of all 40 of its guest rooms.  And they've replaced the bibles with . . . copies of "Fifty Shades of Grey"...
