April 25, 2011 In what the NY Times is calling "one of the worst-kept secrets in television," Katie Couric will reportedly announce her exit from 'CBS Evening News' this week, sources confirmed today.
A replacement for Couric will be announced during the first week in May, after she returns from London, where she will be covering the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Though unconfirmed, '60 Minutes' correspondent Scott Pelley is expected to replace Couric following her exit from the program.
