I’m a Shedder Now!

I survived my first go at Watershed, so I'm now considered a Shedder!

It helps to have experienced Shedders to show you the ropes. My Shedder veterans, Cefus and his fiancee Kristina, where super helpful! They explained what could and couldn't be brought into the venue, they gave me a Watershed tour, pointing out the second stage, the LIFE SAVING water station, what food was the best, alcohol options, the rides and how seating at the Gorge works.

Cherry Hill ‘Amazing Race’ Challenge [VIDEO]

I've always wanted to apply to be on "The Amazing Race". Somehow I talked both Rik and Cefus into being my teammate. The problem is that it's only a team of two, so that means I have to choose.

I tried to weigh their negatives and positives, but they're pretty equal.

So ... I decided I needed to put them through a few challenges before I made my decision.

We headed down to Cherry Hill Golf Course in Granger and I decided that whoever won two out of three challenges would be my teammate for "The Amazing Race."

What Would Your Must-Haves Be if You Were On the Road?

Country stars Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley recently revealed the must-haves they need when they're out on the road.

Brad needs good coffee ... not just any coffee -- GOOD coffee. Like Kona coffee from Hawaii. (As a coffee connoisseur, I get it.) He also needs 2 percent milk and cereal.

Dierks needs beer, red solo cups, ice, sunglasses and a trucker hat.

That got me thinking ... what would my must-haves be if I were on the road?

A Big Wager Over ‘Big Brother’ [VIDEO]

Michele and I have been feuding over the past couple of weeks, but one thing has brought us closer together, and that is the CBS reality show "Big Brother."

Even though we agree on how much we like "Big Brother," Michele and I still differ over which contestant will win as the show enters its 16th season. So we're placing a little wager on it.

And we're looking for your help in deciding what's at stake in this friendly bet.

For starters, I say we put Michele in a frog suit like Nicole if my contestant wins. Give us your best suggestions on our Facebook page and we will have Rik choose the best suggestion.

Should We Take a Match to Jason Aldean’s New Song?

Jason Aldean's highly anticipated new song, "Burn It Down," was released and it's causing quite a stir!

It's not because of the lyrics, it's due to the sound of the song. Some say it sounds like disco music or refer to it as having a beat.

Really? Having a beat? Doesn't all music have some sort of a beat?

Country music has been evolving again, just like it did in the '90s with Garth Brooks and Tim McGraw. Many people didn't like the change country music was taking back then and many don't like the change it's taking today.

Torn Between Two Racers

"The Amazing Race" is casting and I've always wanted to apply, so I'm trying to convince Rik or Cefus to race with me.

The problem is that I can't decide which one I want to race with me. They both have positives and negatives that would help us win the million dollars.

Goodbyes Suck!

My niece, Natalie, who lives in Alaska has traveled all by herself the last two summers to spend some time with us.

To a normal kid this might sound scary -- flying by themselves. Well ... my Natalie is not a normal kid. She has stared death in the face and won! She was 8 years old when she was diagnosed with leukemia, uprooted from her home in Alaska, and airlifted to Seattle without saying goodbye to anyone. Plus, all the medical stuff she had to endure -- like having a port placed, undergoing chemo, taking tons of medication daily and always wondering if she was going to even live.

Michele Gets a Massage With An Unhappy Ending [VIDEO]

Sneaky sneaky. I had to be very quiet sneaking up on Michele, who was just about ready to get a massage from Matt Frank from Natural Wellness Massage in Terrace Heights.

Matt came by the studio last week for a follow-up treatment, and I was peeking in the windo
