The Super Bowl is on the way, even though the Seahawks (and my Eagles) are out. Even my third favorite team -- the Vikings -- is out. Now what? I love football, so I am going to watch. But who do I root for?
Selah's Bob and Stacy Dexter were fully expecting the Seattle Seahawks to beat the Los Angeles Rams during last night's Thursday Night Football game at CenturyLink Field.
Who they ran in to at the game was totally unexpected.
When I chose to attend Monday's Buffalo Bills-Seattle Seahawks NFL game, I had one person in mind: my friend Sheri, who is a diehard Bills fan! My goal was to invite her and her husband to the game with my husband and I.
I was a little worried that they wouldn't be able to attend, due to the game falling on a Monday night. Luckily, they both could go, but I didn't realize that Sheri hadn't been to
Every where I turn there is something that screams 'Sea-Hawks!' If it is a car or a truck or even houses between Tri-Cities & Yakima, Seahawks are all around. In fact, I might have to argue that the Seahawks have better fans than the voted number one fans in the country, The Green Bay Packers. I am sure a Packers fans would not agree but, the truth is out there. I am on Eagles fan. I am pretty
I've been to a number of NFL stadiums throughout the league but I have to say the Seahawks "Touchdown City" is the best of them all. Trying to follow your fantasy players but going to a game on the same day? Every game is on a mammoth screen somewhere...
OK, football fans: Time to show your true colors for a chance to score a couple of tickets to the Oct. 16 Seattle-Atlanta game at CenturyLink Field!
What do you have to do? Same thing you do every game day anyway: gear up!
Yup, in our Ultimate 12th Fan Contest -- sponsored by Yakima's Pacific Northwest University -- all you need to do is send us a photo of yourself (or your pet, your car, your hou

Todd and I went to the Seattle Seahawks training camp on Tuesday along with about 1,500 fans. Then there is this kid, who is obviously a very dedicated Richard Sherman fan. If we're to believe his sign, he traveled (converting metric to the English system for you) 3,682 miles which means he's either from the most northern reaches of Canada or San Jose, Costa Rica...
I've never attended an NFL training camp... until yesterday. With about 1500 fans in attendance Todd and I got to interview and rub elbows with Seahawks players and coaching staff. The toughest part about being in the media is you have to curb your natural tendency to be a fan boy and geek out but I was definitely doing that on the inside...
In a blog I wrote on March 12th I talked about many of the homemade displays of Seahawks "12" logos you'll find throughout the Yakima Valley. Ironically Todd and I just drove back yesterday afternoon after a day at the Seattle Seahawks training camp at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton when, just before we turn into the Townsquare Media parking lot, we spot this car proudly pe
The Moxee Hop Festival is always fun, but this year it had a little added star power -- Seattle Seahawks cheerleaders Christian and Melanie hung out with us all afternoon to sign autographs and pose for pictures.
We got some pictures of our own (see gallery above) before after Moxee's Stan Fortier introduced the Sea Gals to the crowd (see video below)...
The Moxee Hop Festival has been drawing attendees from far beyond the East Valley for years, but organizers might have outdone themselves this time. Two members of the Seattle Seahawks cheer squad -- the Sea Gals -- will be on hand the afternoon of Aug. 6
