Rosalie took on the incredible task of raising pledge money and running as many miles as she could during the entirety of the Downtown Yakima Mile event. In about two hours she was able to complete 12 miles and raised over $50,000!

Michele and I were talking on the air this morning about memories of cruising the avenue as teenagers. She's from Gleed so she had to cruise Yakima Avenue back in the day instead of cruising Gleed's mean streets, and I'm sure her hair was teased high, rocking to Bon Jovi. The good news is Cruisin' The Avenue is returning June 10th to Yakima.
