Over the last few years — and multi-platinum albums — Taylor Swift has taken up seemingly permanent residence on the charts, not to mention the hearts and iPods of millions of fans.

Now, she also has a pair of spots in the Guinness Book of World Records to call her own.

Swift is the brand new record-holder in the Fastest Selling Digital Album by a Female Artist category, earned for sales of her latest CD, ‘Speak Now.’ She’s also been given the title for the Most Simultaneous U.S. Hot 100 Hits by a Female Artist, with a whopping 11 hit singles at once.

After receiving the news, Swift looked back on her pre-fame days, remembering her childhood dreams of making it big in the music industry. “I would think about how lucky I would be if people cared about the words I wrote,” she said. “I would think about how lucky I would be if one day I was walking through a mall and saw a little girl with my face on her T-shirt. I would think that if one day anyone lined up to ask me to sign something of theirs, that would be a good day!”

Swift has recently discussed plans for her next album, but in the meantime, she’s still touring hard to promote ‘Speak Now,’ completing her 2011 run of American dates before heading to Australia and New Zealand next year.
