The tweet heard 'round the country music world that wasn't shy about sending Taylor Swift off into the genre of pop. I would venture to guess that ever since she got her start in country music and even through her last project, "Red," country has stood next to the 24-year-old-superstar.

Until now, that is. Taylor announced yesterday that she's gone pop and her new single "Shake it Off" doesn't even show a shade of country. I would also bet that since the Country Music Association awarded Taylor Swift with the Pinnacle award only reserved for country stars such as Garth Brooks, they feel a little slighted and abandoned.

Swift's latest single is a far cry from her early days singing about country crooner Tim McGraw.

"Good luck on your new venture @taylorswift13! We've LOVED watching you grow! #TaylorSwiftYahoo

I do like her song but I'm afraid I will have to listen to 107.3 KFFM to hear it because I'm not sure if it will end up on the Bull. Time will tell...
