Teachers Worth More Than Celebrities

Which profession is worthy of the highest salary? A new Rasmussen Reports survey reveals that among a variety of occupations, 30% of Americans think teachers should get paid the most. Military personnel and doctors lag behind at 14% and 13% respectively. Just 10% believe business leaders should get the highest salary. Only 9% feel the President of the United States, who currently earns $400,000 a year, should get top wages. Despite their dangerous work, only 5% think policemen are worthy of the highest earnings. The last two professions include some of the highest earners in America. Overall, just 4% think celebrities should get paid the most, while only 2% say the same about professional athletes.
