The Last Book In The Sookie Stackhouse Series Came In The Mail Yesterday!

It arrived in the mail yesterday! The very last Sookie Stackhouse book from Charlaine Harris. (These are the books that HBO's True Blood was based off of.) I had pre ordered the book to arrive on it's release date. I was excited and sad all rolled into one big ball! Excited because it's been a year since the last Sookie book and sad knowing that this will be the very last book.

I had heard that a copy of the book had been leaked from someone in Germany and many readers where not happy with the ending.

The author, Charlaine Harris has had the ending planned from the beginning. It's how she wanted it to end.

My plan is to just read it and try not to get upset with the ending.

At least I have the season 6 premiere of True Blood on HBO June 16th to look forward to!
