Janet Waldo, the voice of Judy Jetson, Penelope Pitstop and even Josie from "Josie and the Pussycats" back in the day, was born in Yakima. She went to the University of Washington and has quite a background in radio and television. When I was a kid, I used to love to pretend that I was Judy Jetson. She had such an awesome voice and she could change her clothes into whatever she wanted in an instant!

I would love to meet Janet Waldo, who is now 96 years old. Since she is no stranger to the radio airwaves, we need to have her on our radio shows.  She would show all of us a thing or two, I am sure.

So could her husband, Robert E. Lee, who was a radio guy and a very famous playwright. "Auntie Mame," from 1956, was his most notable.

Check out voice work from Janet Waldo, the very famous Yakima Valley born radio voice actor! The question is, does Janet still live in the Yakima Valley?
