Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are speaking candidly about their love for one another and marriage of 20 years in a new interview.

Speaking with the Associated Pressthe country music power couple address the trials and tribulations of a lasting marriage, saying that commitment is a major contributing factor. "Look, there is no secret. Either you like one another or you don't. You want to stay married or you don't. You work at it, or you don't," Hill says definitively. "Simple as that. It is not always easy and there are moments that are rocky."

"But you don't walk away," her husband adds. The "Mississippi Girl" singer also reveals that while things may not be perfect all the time, the challenges are what keep life interesting. "I would rather live a life in rocky road ice cream than vanilla any day of the week," she says. "Honestly, vanilla gets boring after a couple of days."

The couple are currently embarking on their 2017 Soul2Soul Tour that takes them across the U.S. from April through October, hitting multiple markets along the way. The tour kicked off in New Orleans on April 7 and covers the U.S. and Canada before wrapping up in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Oct. 27. McGraw and Hill are currently promoting their new single, "Speak to a Girl," which they performed live for the first time at the 52nd annual ACM Awards.

The new track serves as the first single off their upcoming 2017 joint album, the first time the couple have recorded an entire album together. Several of country music's brightest young stars are set to join the couple on the road as opening acts including Brothers Osborne, Jon Pardi, Chris LaneMaggie RoseCam and more.
