Travis Tritt is expanding his resume for 2014 by adding narrator to the list. Tritt will narrate an indie film about a young Walt Disney.

The movie, 'As Dreamers Do,' used their Facebook page to tease followers about the narrator before officially announcing that Tritt had the part.

"When our director first read the script, he said the voice of Travis Tritt was in his head. You can imagine how thrilled we are to actually have him in that role," they wrote.

The movie is expected to come out in March of 2014 and is an "early Walt Disney biopic," based on the early life of Mr. Walt Disney himself.

'The Calm After,' Tritt's newest album, came out this past summer and includes 14 new songs. It's available for purchase on iTunes and includes a duet with his daughter, Tyler Reese. He's been in the news more lately as details of his daughter's entrance to country music were revealed.

He admitted that he was a little nervous about her trying to break into country music but seems to support his daughter nonetheless.

Tritt has a busy start to his new year, with lots of solo acoustic dates during January. He'll be making stops in Ga., Texas and more. For full dates, visit his website. Tritt even has two acoustic shows outside Nashville, Tenn. that will include other artists like Kid Rock and Marty Stuart.
