Should Yakima Have Truck Routes?
<Country Club
How many times has this happened to you: You’re waiting on a red light to turn left heading north on 40th and Summitview, Tieton or Nob Hill. Then, an 18-wheeler turns right, only it needs to make a wide, right turn, coming close to scratching your car or forcing you to back-up just so they can make that turn.
Should we have a truck route that all trucker who are delivering supplies or fruit or whatever in town know where to go. Or are they fine to make those wide turns. Sure, it may be a little scary sometimes, but cut them some slack. What do you think?
