The 2013 ACM Awards produced some predictable and unpredictable moments on Sunday night. Luke Bryan won Entertainer of the Year, which few would have bet on in Las Vegas if gambling on awards shows was something people did. Miranda Lambert‘s wins were more expected, but equally deserving. ‘Over You’ is among the best songs of the last 15 years, and she and husband Blake Shelton are worthy of the honors.

Throughout the night, Taste of Country traffic spiked when something exciting happened on stage. But the surges in traffic weren’t always in ways one would expect. Google searches during performances by the Band Perry, Brad Paisley and Lady Antebellum had little to do with ‘Done,’ ‘Beat This Summer’ and ‘Downtown’ — their respective singles. Similarly, speeches by Lambert and Bryan produced a few viral stories. These hot moments from the 2013 ACM Awards reflect search traffic at Taste of Country.

Miranda Lambert Wins Song of the Year for 'Over You'

Traffic soared as Lambert and Shelton took the stage to accept this honor. As they were getting emotional, readers wanted to know more about the track from 'Four the Record,' as well as how Blake Shelton's brother, Richie, was killed. More popular were searches about the 'Mama's Broken Heart' singer being pregnant, and her figure in general. At one point, hundreds ToC by searching "How much does Miranda Lambert weigh?" That's sort of a sad statement about how people use search engines, and something we'd never report on. She looked great, as usual.

Lady Antebellum Perform 'Downtown'

It wasn't the song or the trio's new album that had viewers taking to Google to get answers about Lady A. Instead, people landed on ToC by the thousands to get answers about Hillary Scott's due date and pregnant belly. She is now showing, and looked more beautiful than ever singing the group's hit song at the ACMs.

Garth Brooks and George Strait Perform Together

The actual performance was somewhat underwhelming, as both men essentially sang one of their own songs instead of collaborating for some full-on Vegas magic. But the night's most anticipated moment became one of the most viral as fans searched endlessly for Garth Brooks tour dates. There aren't any.

Luke Bryan Wins ACM Entertainer of the Year Award

The night's big surprise was Bryan accepting this honor for EotY. His emotional comments afterward were a show highlight. The singer is talented and humble, so obviously, fans and viewers were searching endlessly for more information on Luke Bryan's … wife. Yes, it was Caroline Bryan that led a sudden surge in traffic after readers found this story and this story about Mrs. Bryan and the singer's family.

The Band Perry Perform 'Done'

This was arguably the performance of the night, and perhaps our biggest spike in traffic. The choreography was nearly flawless, and the trio's energy took the show to a new level. However what viewers wanted to know about was Kimberly Perry and her boyfriend. Does she have one? If so, who? Many landed on this article about her rumored relationship with Toronto Blue Jays catcher JP Arencibia.
