There is ton of entertainment coming to Yakima and we want to help spread the word. There's a common misconception that there's nothing to do in downtown, but just take a look at the calendar of the Capitol Theatre for the next month and a half. They alone have six shows you could attend. Two comedic legends in Bill Cosby and Tom Arnold, a folk-celtic trio called the Wailin' Jennys, the Moscow Ballet's "Nutcracker Suite" and the Yakima Symphony Orchestra.

We spoke with Nikki Mehta of the Waliin' Jennys this morning and she told us this is their first time in Yakima. The ladies of Wailin' Jennys have won two Juno awards (Canadian Grammys) and are currently on tour through the U.S. They make stops in Seattle, Spokane and other parts of the Pacific Northwest before hitting Yakima on Dec. 5.

One of their most requested songs, "Pants" -- written by Grant Johnson (the Jennys' sound engineer) -- is a fun way to showcase their talent.

Here is a video from their YouTube channel that shows them performing "Pants" in Friday Harbor.
