What Was Your Favorite Homemade Halloween Costume When You Were a Kid?

Growing up, Halloween meant a homemade costume sewn by my mom. Back then it wasn't so easy to just go to the store to pick out your costume.

And those homemade costumes are still some of my favorites to this very day -- Tweety Bird and Strawberry Shortcake are two that stand out.

Even as an adult my mom's made some pretty awesome costumes -- Cat Woman one year, a witch another.
