What’s the Best Vacuum Cleaner? [POLL]

It's the age-old argument: Which vacuum is the best? Dyson or Shark? Hoover or Oreck?

A friend of mine's Dyson recently kicked the can and she asked her Facebook friends for vacuum suggestions. She has four kids, three dogs and two bunnies. She's not thrilled with the idea of buying another $500 vacuum.

We had a Dyson for 10 years that died last year. After some research on the best vacuum we decided to give the Shark a try. It was less expensive (which my husband LOVED), it has the same pick-up power and I love how light and easy it is to use.
