I have a heck of a time getting to sleep on a Sunday night (or in this case, Monday night after Labor Day weekend).  Mainly because I sleep in so late on the weekends.  My alarm goes off at 2:30am during the week... and I TRY to get into bed by 8pm.  But with two young kids, it's tough sometimes.  So the weekends are when I catch up on sleep... and because of that, I'm not tired at the end of the weekend.  So usually I need an item to aid the process.

Basic Melatonin from Costco is my usual go-to.  It's cheap and it works.  Sometimes a good 'ol Vodka drink helps too.  But with all these study's out about how bad alcohol is for the human body, I try to avoid it when I can.

There's a new drink on the market that might be worth a try. It's called Som Sleep, and apparently, it puts you to sleep in 30 minutes or less.

Does it work? Some people swear by it, including some celebrities who may or may not have been paid to endorse it, like Jenna Dewan and Hilary Duff. It also  has positive ratings on Amazon.
