Why Are Hawks Fans Burning Their Sherman Jerseys? Are You?

As I was scrolling through Twitter yesterday I came across a retweet of Seattle Seahawks fans burning their Richard Sherman jerseys.

Huh? This made no sense to me. Sherman was cut by the Seahawks. He didn't choose to leave. The man's gotta feed his family and San Francisco just happened to be the team willing to pay up. The guy is making $39 million with a $5 million signing bonus. Plus, the guy grew up in California.

Yeah, it sucks that we are losing Sherman. But you can't blame the guy for continuing his career, and it just so happens to be with the 49ers, one of our NFC West Division rivals.
