Why Guys Stretch the Truth About How Tall They Are

In honor of National Tape Measure day let's talk about height.

My former morning show co-host would often argue with me over his height. He would insist that he was taller than me.

I'm 5'8" and he tried to say that he was 5'9", so one day I had him stand back to back with me shoe-less. Sure enough I was a hair taller than him.

Is it just guys who lie about their height? Or do you know girls who do as well? Would you date a guy who was shorter?
