Willie Nelson is a living legend that has firmly established himself as an American icon. He’s a country singer who has written over 2,500 songs, released 60 studio albums while transcending a range of musical genres, and put a face on social causes like Farm Aid. The bandana-clad artist has a career spanning six decades, with 14 Billboard #1 hit songs, including “On the Road Again,” “Good Hearted Woman,” “To All the Girls I’ve Loved Before,” and “Pancho and Lefty.”

The Willie Nelson concert will be held on opening night of the Puyallup Fair following the 6:00 p.m. rodeo, Friday, Sept. 7 at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center. This concert, part of Columbia Bank’s Puyallup Fair Concert Series, as well as the PRCA (prorodeo.com) Puyallup Pro Rodeo tickets, will go on sale Thursday, April 19 at 10 a.m. on the Fair website, www.thefair.com/concerts or by phone (888) 559-FAIR (3247), daily, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. PST. To save the convenience charges, purchase tickets in person at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center box office at 9th Avenue SW and Meridian Street on Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
