Would You Be Alright If Your Middle School Son Went To An Awards Banquet At Hooters?

How would you feel about your middle school son going to an awards banquet at Hooters?

An Oregon middle school football coach, Randall Burbach was recently fired for planning the awards banquet at Hooters.

The dinner was not planned at Hooters because of the sexual overtones, but because it has a fun atmosphere. The school athletic director called coach Burbach to ask him to change the venue and he would not for a number of reasons.

The athletic director said the party would no longer be considered a school event.

Coach Burbach does not regret his decision and will not allow himself to be bullied by a "vocal minority."

I'm really mixed about how I would feel if this was my son. My son's have been to a Hooters in Texas, but I'm not sure I would be alright if it was a school function.
