Yakima Dance Teacher Retires

Last night was my 6 year olds last dance class with Mrs. Sara. Mrs. Sara owns and operates her dance school, Studio 2 Dance With Sara in the Meadowbrook Mall. Mrs. Sara recently decided to retire and spend time with her husband. Sara has been teaching dance at that location for 17 years. Some of her teenage students who are going on to college she has had as students since age 3!

This past Saturday was Mrs. Sara's last dance recital at the West Valley Junior High School. It was bittersweet and sitting in the audience I couldn't help but get a little teary eyed.

Shaylee was only in her class for a year, but she loved class and Mrs. Sara. Mrs. Sara taught dance with love, patience, and grace. You will be missed dearly Mrs. Sara!!
