Yakima Honors Future Soldiers at Swearing in Ceremony

townsquare media

The Yakima Valley has always supported members of the military that hail from our region. Last night at the Yakima Armory 20 young men and women took their oath of service from Lt. Col Osteen of the Yakima Training Center.

The Red Cross and the City of Yakima also gave presentations to help and recognize these brave future soldiers. This is the first time that Yakima has held a ceremony to honor the future warriors from the Yakima Valley.
