During the summer months, some Yakima residents have a rough time when it comes to feeding their families. Luckily, the Yakima School District is doing something to help.

They're offering a free summer meal program in more than 30 sites around Yakima for kids under 18. The program offers breakfast, lunch, and snacks every weekday.

The district served up 60,000 meals last year alone.

The program's food trucks make stops around the city in places like parks, bus stops and apartment complexes.
