I thought this was pretty neat. There's a fall foliage map that shows when, in the United States, the leaves are changing color. According to this map, looks like our peak is the beginning of October this year.

You can see the map for yourself and get a look at when the leaves are starting to change colors. Fun to see it starts in the Rocky Mountains and the tips of Minnesota and northern Vermont and New Hampshire. Then starts to spread from there.
