YNHS ‘Festival In The Parking Lot’ In Yakima And Sunnyside Is Back With Free Sno-Cones, Popcorn And Immunizations For Kids

If you’ve missed out on previous Festival In The Parking Lot events put on by Yakima Neighborhood Health Services, then this is your week (in honor of National Health Center Week).

Join me in Yakima and Sunnyside for the celebration. I, for one, will be bringing along my daughter, Willow, to get her immunized for kindergarten!

Along with free immunizations, kids can enjoy free sno-cones, popcorn and plenty of activities. Plus, kids can register to win a free a bicycle!

Adults can learn about the services provided to the community by YNHS and find out about health coverage options available or get health screenings. There will also be a 3-on-3 team Hula Hoop tournament (18+ up) for some prizes and bragging rights.

Yakima

When: Wednesday (Aug. 10), from 1-4 p.m.

Sunnyside

When: Thursday, (Aug. 11), 1-4 p.m.

Where: 617 Scoon, Yakima Neighborhood Health Services parking lot
