Yakima Valley Community College Playmasters presents Tennessee Williams’ "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" on November 14 -16, 2013 at 7:30pm and November 17 at 2:00pm in Kendall Auditorium.

Tickets cost $7.00 for students and $10.00 general admission and can be purchased in advance at the YVCC bookstore or at the box office the night of the performance. The production is directed by Alicia Bickley.

One of Williams’ best-known works and his personal favorite, "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1955. Set in the Mississippi delta plantation home of Big Daddy Pollitt, a wealthy cotton tycoon, the play examines the relationships among members of Big Daddy’s family, primarily between his son Brick and Maggie the “Cat”, Brick’s wife.
