The Johnson & Johnson Campaign for Nursing’s Future is asking former patients and family to nominate an exceptional U.S. nurse who has impacted their life. Anyone can nominate a nurse who has had a significant impact on their or a loved one’s life via www.facebook.com/jnjnursingnotes. The winner and a guest will receive a trip to Los Angeles to attend “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute” show in December and the winner will also be featured in a TV commercial on CNN, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson. During the past decade, the United States has experienced a chronic shortage of nurses and the national vacancy rate for registered nurses is more than 4%. Information concerning a nursing career is available at www.discovernursing.com.
