At age 11, Conaway received praise from Billy Ray Cyrus after seeing her work as an amateur photographer, encouraging her to follow in her mother's footsteps. She then started freelancing for multiple publications as a photographer, before she began dabbling with writing. By the early 2000s, she was an published journalist for many music magazines on the market. At 29, she has established herself as a well-respected writer in the field of music entertainment and has built strong friendships along the way. Conaway currently resides in Nashville, Tenn. where she freelances full-time for Taste of Country, PopCrush, Ultimate Classic Rock, LoudWire, Guy Speed, Country Weekly and Full Access Magazine.
