Not quite feeling the summer vibes yet? We know it's only the beginning of June...some of the kids aren't even out of school yet, and this time of year can be a bit of a drippy period in many parts of the country before burning off into full summer temps. For all of you in these situations, we bring you Carrie Underwood's official video for "Southbound."

As the singer hinted on social media a little while ago, the video is filled with everything summery, including water guns, cornhole games, margaritas, lakeside fun...oh, yes, and a lot of glimpses at Underwood's current Cry Pretty tour, which has its own hold on summertime as it makes its way around the U.S. and a few dates in the U.K.

Perhaps the most touching moment of the video comes when Underwood is shown horsing around with her oldest son, Isaiah, outside on the lawn—juxtaposed with shots of her walking toward the stage with her little one following her in awe. If anyone needed to know the meaning of "work hard, play hard," this pretty much sums it up neatly.

"Southbound" is Underwood's third single from her current album, also titled Cry Pretty, and it's a change of pace from her previous two singles, "Cry Pretty" and "Love Wins," both of which carried serious messages. She's performed so far this year it at the 2019 ACM Awards and this season's American Idol finale.

Underwood's Cry Pretty tour will keep her busy through fall, when she'll presumably be able to transition into the fun of that particular season.
