Finding The Best Restrooms At The Central Washington State Fair
The Central Washington State Fair brings people from all over to enjoy live entertainment, great food, family-friendly activities, the rides, and so much more.
Throughout the day, hydrating under the Yakima sun, there's a good chance that nature will call, so to speak.
There are several restroom options around the Central Washington State Fair at your convenience, but which ones are better than others?
Is it worth the walk to go to a different one when there's one closer?
Here's what to consider.
Bathroom options at the Central Washington State Fair
The good thing is the Central Washington State Fair keep these clean at all times. They have people near by to spot check and take care of maintenance so thank you for that.
These porta-potties are scattered throughout the fairgrounds, usually around the surrounding areas. I think they're really more meant for employees, staff, and volunteers who are posted near these for convenience, but you can use them, too, if it's dire.
There are better options, but they work if you're at the zero hour.

You can never go wrong with the SunDome bathrooms. Many stalls and options on both sides, depending on where you are in the arena. One element to keep in mind is they have the airblade driers so that's good news if you love them, but not great if you prefer paper towels.

In year's past, this one was, for some reason, always wet. Like, the floor always had a layer of water on it. Usually later in the evening. When I checked these out this year they were dry and clean on a busy afternoon. You can find these ones across from the racetrack entrance near the back.
These ones are a little more hidden which you can use to your advantage. Near the edge of the fairground by the barns near the Dairy shack. They may not have as many stalls as others, but they're not bad at all.

"There's a bathroom in the ag building?" There sure is! They're a little hidden which, again, could be good news for you if nobody else really knows about them. Not a lot of stall options as you may have to wait your turn, but this one has always been clean.
Water's Extreme Journey is the name of the exhibit in this giant building this year. It's a fun, interactive maze that teaches you about the water we have here on Earth.
Soon as you walk into the building if you pivot to the right you'll see a restroom sign against the wall. It's a little hidden and I think many don't notice it. This one always works.
For the record, the Modern Living Building has my favorite restrooms at the fair. You'll find them to the right when you walk into the first set of doors. Nice, comfortable, clean, and not often in use. It doesn't have as many stalls as some of the others at the fair, but with it not as often in use you shouldn't have to wait.

I'm sure there are other bathrooms at the fair, too. What did I miss? AppChat us and let us know.
