Could the Only Chili’s in Washington be Closing Soon?

"Hi, welcome to Chili's."
A familiar phrase that has invited many people to the over 1,500 Chili's Grill & Bar locations throughout the United States including our remaining location for Washington in Spokane.

There are talks of Chili's going into bankruptcy which has people asking if Washington's last Chili's is also set to close shop sometime soon. Here's what we know.

Give it to me straight... is Chili's Closing in Spokane

As of this time, no. And no signs of it slowing down, either.

Z94 makes mention of several Chili's locations closing down ahead of any Chapter 11 filings. Fortunately for us here in Washington, and especially Spokane, it seems our Chili's Bar & Grill is safe.

It's in a great location in downtown Spokane right across from the convention center.

And, as of this time, they have no reason to close shop. Every time I've gone in there it was decently crowded depending on the day.

It's especially fun to go there when there's the Lilac City Comicon or anime convention in town as the place is full of cosplayers. That's always fun.

If you find yourself in Spokane, we can try to ensure it's existence in at least grabbing a drink and an appetizer there when you're in town. I'd hate for Washington State to be one of the only states without a Chili's.
I can barely fathom the idea.
