The Taylor Bridge/Cle Elum Wild Fire continues to burn...

With so many displaced families, pets, and individuals, you may be wondering how you can help.  Here's how:

The American Red Cross is currently taking donations of personal items, non-perishable food items and cash.  They are located at 302 South 2nd Street in Yakima.  800-733-2767

There are also some local business that are taking donations for the fire victims on behalf of the Red Cross, they are:

More specifically, they are in need of Shoes, infant care needs ie: Formula and Diapers.  Also, Clothing, Blankets, Pillows, Coats, Shoes and Personal Hygiene Items.  Bottled Water.

The Yakima Red Cross and KIMA TV will be conducting a Telethon on Friday from 5:30am to 7:30pm to collect monetary donations for the victims.  More info to come.

It's also really easy to over look the pets in all of this.  There are pets turning up at the Ellensburg Animal Shelter and Ellensburg Animal Hospital.  Pets are also being dropped off and cared for at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds.  If you are missing a pet or would like to help, please get ahold of the following:
