Watch ‘Clue: On Stage’ at Davis High School in Yakima
Growing up, Clue was my #1 favorite board game. It was the original 'whodunit' where you're looking for, not only the killer, but where they did it and with what item the deed was done through process of elimination.
I loved the idea that there was this mansion and you could go in the different rooms and they had different weapons and, in some cases, it may turn out you, yourself, were the killer all along.
This board game became a hit movie. Those old enough to remember when this was in theaters, depending on where you saw it, you may get a different ending. If you watch the movie now it goes over all of the different endings in the same viewing.
The A.C. Davis High School in Yakima presents Clue: On Stage at the newly renovated Davis Auditorium (212 S. 6th ave.)
This is a high school version of Clue. A murder-mystery where everyone is a suspect.
Each of the students play a key roll as one of the invited guests where they all go by aliases, along with the butler, the mansion staff, and Mr. Body who... well, if you're not familiar with the movie I won't spoil anything.
As they all arrive they're all given a gift. If you're familiar with the board game, you'll know what types of gifts you can imagine.
This is a wonderful production and you're invited to see for yourself.
