Kids with life-threatening or life changing conditions will get some help from the community on Saturday. The Yakima based Children's Wishes and Dreams has helped 225 children since it started 13 years ago. They hope to help a lot more through your donations.
A news release says the Convoy of Wishes starts with a breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Saturday behind Miner’s Drive-In Restaurant. It's open to everyone and the cost is $5.
After the breakfast at 9:00 a.m. the convoy of vehicles will drive through Yakima and gather at the Valley Mall in Union Gap at 10:00 a.m.
If you'd like to help out or get involved in the convoy contact Children's Wishes and Dreams executive director Heidi Anderson at 452-8312.
