Davis High School currently has two plaques that honor formor students that paid the ultimate sacrifice during World War II. They want to expand that memorial, however, to include all the names of former students who have lost their lives fighting for our freedom.

They're asking for your help in gathering these names so they too can be honored. According to KIMA, the memorial will be placed in their courtyard, and as Davis High's principal, Ryan McDaniel, suggests, it will be a way for the "students to connect the history of Davis High School in what they learn in their history classes.” Ryan McDaniel said. If you have a person's name that you want to add to the memorial you can email Tiffany Spencer (spencer.tiffany@yakimaschools.org).
