Remember in the '80s they had the classic Cadbury Creme Egg commercial with the bunny clucking like a chicken? Ahh, the good ol' days when food just tasted better as maybe they weren't concerned about health and preservatives to stay on store shelves longer, I'm not sure. Easter comes as a favorite holiday for many for all the great treats you find on shelves. From those chocolate coconut nests with jelly bean on them to Reese's peanut butter hearts. A favorite and one of the most popular is the Cadbury Creme Eggs. These giant chocolate eggs filled with a cream-like substance that's colors resemble the inside of an eggs with the white and yellow filling. Filling is right, I'm good for about one a year.

I'm not sure if it's nostalgia or what, but I remember these being bigger and just kinda different than I remember them in the '80s and, as it turns out, I'm right.

What's more is that they original one we remember from the '80s is still available in the UK. Bigger, too.

The one on the right is from the US where the slightly larger one on the left is from the UK.
Don't be asking how I imported this! I got my sources. But, honestly, I grabbed these from a British store in Puyallup called British Bites. I love that place.

Again, bigger but not by much. Both are still fantastic but the one from the UK just has a better quality of literally everything. I could go into detail but this blog covers about everything like how the ingredients are slightly different. All I can say is that the UK one is what I remember us having in the US with the chocolate being a better quality and thicker, snappier texture and the inside more gooey, if that makes sense. If you love Cadbury Creme Eggs I'd look into getting these from the UK. It's hard to go back to the ones found in US stores.
