For the past couple of months, my kids kept telling me about this 'Dubai Chocolate' that they'd see on TikTok.

They showed me a video or to and it looks like some kind of stuffed chocolate.

A chocolate bar that's filled with a blend of pistachio and Knafeh which is a shredded, crunchy with roots from Arabia. Think a little like how baklava has that crispy, crunchy layer. A little like that.

This chocolate has been imported to the United States for the past few months found at high end chocolate places probably in bigger cities and soon as the TikTok algorithm started to pick up on it, more and more started to take notice.

One of my kids who was very interested in trying it ended up ordering some on Amazon.

We all tried it. Like most viral treats, it's fun and worth trying. I thought it tasted okay. One of my other kids didn't care for it at all.

It's fun, but I know it would be better of just made locally.

And, as luck would have it, I finally found some and right here in Yakima so no need to order something generic on Amazon.

If you're looking for Dubai Chocolate in Yakima, there's a booth at Valley Mall that carries it.

This place has local honey, handcrafted soaps, the best caramel apples you'll ever have (they use cosmic crisp for their apples) and, yes, Dubai Chocolate so long as they have it in stock.

Next time you're at Valley Mall, swing by and try some for yourself.

They're right next to center court in front of Kohl's.
