Who: Open to all community members in Yakima County

Safe Yakima Valley and Leadership Yakima are proud to announce the “Steps Toward Success” Community Fun Run/Walk.

This family-friendly event is designed to bring the community together in support of local youth and to reinforce a powerful message: showing up matters! The “Steps Toward Success” Fun Run/Walk encourages students and families to prioritize school attendance and build positive daily habits that lead to long-term success.

Entry fee is FREE for persons ages 18 and under; $10 for ages 19 and up.

Food trucks will be on site.

The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels. Families, students, educators, businesses, and community members are encouraged to participate and demonstrate their commitment to supporting youth success in Yakima.
