Do you have a child that has shown interest in Journalism as a career? Or maybe you're a high school student trying to decide if the radio industry is for you? Well, there's a workshop this weekend in Tri-Cities that will give you the opportunity to learn more about radio journalism and it may seal the deal on your career choice.

Washington State University has teamed up with North West Public Broadcasting and KUOW Radio Active to host this FREE radio journalism workshop for students 16-18-years-old. This two-day event will allow students to learn "how to write, edit, record and interview just as a professional journalist would." Plus, several professional journalists will be on hand to mentor.
