From Heater to AC – We’re Expecting Highs in the 80s This Week
Yakima is no stranger to variable weather patterns. No doubt you've heard someone say, "If you don't like the weather, wait around, it'll change," More often than not, it's true.
We've had some pretty chilly weather this spring with constant rain but that's all about to change this week as the sun will be shining and we'll get our warmest days so far this year later this week.

">Weather Channel, Yakima has expected a high of 86 degrees this Saturday.
And getting there will be a bit of a couple of steps as well.
Monday with an expected high of 63, then Tuesday's high of 70 jumping up Wednesday with a high of 78.
And right when I just got new jeans, we'll immediately be into shorts weather later in the week. But that doesn't mean put those away until next fall.
Though temperatures are expected to get to the upper 80s this Saturday, they're expected to go back down to the 70s and even into the 60s for a high the week after.
A slight heatwave coming through Yakima isn't a bad thing, just want to make sure you're prepared.
Probably going to end up being those days where you bring a jacket to work but don't need it on the way home, only to need it again the next day and you end up leaving it at work as you didn't need it. Yeah, I do that, too. We'll see how it goes.
